Disparate Undulations

Ripples in the stream of consciousness *

This is not a blog per se, but is to serve as a catch-all for those random, disconnected thoughts occurring throughout the day.

There's no predetermined format and the postings are random with no implied regularity.

Comments are not enabled; it's really not that kind of blog.

* (The mixed metaphor is intentional.)

It seems to be all about "patience", a quality of which I'm in short supply.

It always happens like this.
[It] starts out being annoying;
progresses to being an inconvenience.
Eventually, I reach the boiling point and end up getting very pissed off.
I over-react and blow my top.

Then ...and it never fails... the very next day the problem either gets fixed or resolves itself.
In any event, there I am, with egg all over my face,
feeling badly for having made "such a production" over the now-non existent problem.

And regret not being able to take back the things I said.

In this instance, I could've just deleted the previous post,
but I'm leaving it there as reminder to myself to exercise a little patience
the next time I get my "knickers in a bunch".

What's the fucking deal here?

Blogger has (had) a great thing going, but they're blowing it.
Whatever the problem is, FIX IT!!!

It's understandable that with the complexity of today's technology
things don't always run smoothly. I accept that. But this has been going on too long.

The pages don't fully load...
and what's with the lag time?
I might as well be using a damn dial-up connection.

Yeah! When [they] talk about broadband speed, they neglect to mention that all that lightening speed may (will) be affected by network congestion and server problems.

Blogging ...and reading blogs... is becoming too much of a hassle. After a few failed attempts, I just give up and move onto something else.

So, fellow bloggers, if I've not been stopping by, it's all Blogger's fault.
Send them nasty emails.
Tell them, you're "mad as hell and you're not gonna take this any more".
