As with all things new, I've started peaking under the hood of this new blogger format to see how it ticks. This new template is a wee bit more complex and will prove to be quite the challenge for me to mess around with.
I thought I'd start a new blog ...just to test run the new features... for my production log. I could keep it private, or not. Anyway, I thought the feature of categorizing posts by topic would be useful in isolating the different things made. Also, I'm kinda intrigued by the hierarchical sidebar menus.
Okay, so I'm off on a new obsession. But then I hit a road block. I can't really delve into it yet; they've not made it compatible with Safari. Okay, I could work on it on my PC, but...
I know beta testing is necessary to get all the bugs out, and there are gonna be bugs. But that's the one thing about this whole electronic industry that I hate. Because of competition, coming up with the "next best thing", and vying for that elusive market share, they never perfect a product (or software) before they're off with something new ...that's buggy and needs constant tweaking. And before they finally get it right, they're off on the next project. So consequently there is also some small minority which ends up with the shit end of the stick. But who cares, as long as the majority is kept amused.
